Outside normal hours you will be connected to an answering machine which gives details of how to contact the specialist out-of-hours service - "VetsNow" - in Colwyn Bay. This service is located at the same premises as Prospect House Vet Clinic in the centre of town but is a completely separate, unrelated organisation with their own Vets and Vet Nurses, immediately available for urgent cases. Telephoning the surgery rather than simply 'turning up' with an emergency allows us to prepare for your arrival and give any 'First Aid' advice necessary. Please only call "out-of-hours" in genuinely urgent situations. Please note, out-of-hours work always attracts significant extra charges.
