This is the initial consultation fee in most cases. However, there are many circumstances under which this is reduced, for example, Nurse consultations, repeat and/or regular consultations for the same condition (reduced fee only available if you purchase your medicines from us), consultations for "smaller" pets, minor matters such as claw-clipping etc.. Conversely, "out-of-hours" consultations attract a higher fee.

Cat Spay (female neutering) - £ 55.00
Charitable assistance towards the cost may be available to those on low income. (Please ask about this before booking your cat in.) Buster collar to prevent licking at sutures, peri-operative pain-relief included. Should a cat prove to be "on heat", or pregnant, the operation price will be greater.
Cat Castration (male neutering) - £ 38.50
Charitable assistance towards the cost may be available to those on low income. (Please ask about this before booking your cat in.)
Bitch Spay (female dog neutering) - £ 152.00
Large/over-weight dogs will incur a higher fee. Immediate peri-operative pain relief, "Buster" collar when necessary, routine post-op. checks, stitch removals are included, but some stronger pre-op. sedatives, treatment for (rare) unexpected complications are not.
Dog Castration (male neutering) - £ 90.00
The fee for larger dogs may be higher. Charitable assistance towards the cost may be available to those on low income (ALSO FOR FEMALES). (Please ask about this before booking your dog in.) Immediate peri-operative pain relief and "Buster" collar when necessary are included but some stronger pre-op. sedatives are not.
Dentistry (Cat) - £ 65.00
Please note this is a minimum fee. Should a lot of work be required this fee could rise by as much as 50%. In many cases the costs of necessary drugs (e.g. antibiotics) and pre- and post-operative consultations will have to be added.

Please note this is a minimum fee. Should a lot of work be required this fee could even double. In many cases the costs of necessary drugs (e.g. antibiotics) and pre- and post-operative consultations will have to be added.
Vaccination (Dogs) - £ 45.00
This is our "Basic" Vaccination course for puppies - two injections 2 - 4 weeks apart. (NB Adult dog price is £51.00). We also offer, as an option, an "Extra Protection" course for puppies under 12 weeks old - extra cost £9.50.
Annual Booster Vaccination (Dogs) - £ 35.50
This includes a general check-up for your dog.
Kennel Cough Vaccination - £ 29.00
Please note this vaccine is administered intra-nasally and not by injection.
Vaccination (Cats) - £ 55.50
Our normal policy is to include protection against Feline Leukaemia virus but if Flu/Enteritis protection only is required, we can offer this at a lower fee. Two injections are required, 3 - 4 weeks apart.
Annual Booster Vaccination (Cats) - £ 36.00
This includes a general check-up for your cat. As with full vaccination, flu/enteritis only boosters are available at a lesser cost. Conversely, should you wish to up-grade your cat's protection to include vaccination against Feline Leukaemia virus, please ask and we will be happy to quote you the up-grade price.
Rabbit Vaccination - £ 44.00
This consists of two injections 10 - 14 days apart - one against Myxomatosis and one against Viral Haemorrhagic Disease. (These vaccines are, of course, available seperately - individual vaccine prices available on request.) Annual vaccination is recommended (Myxomatosis vaccine can be given every 6 months in the face of a local outbreak).
Microchipping - £ 31.88
Available for all species. An invaluable aid to recovery of your pet should it ever be lost or stolen. NB Reduced price Microchipping available with Nurse Consultations - details on request.
